How did toddler survive?
A toddler in America has miraculously survived an accident which resulted in a car key being lodged in his brain.
Nicholas Holderman was playing with his two brothers on September 2 when he fell on his parents’ keys, according to the Mail Online
The toddler’s screams alerted his parents to the horrifying accident, with his mother Staci telling US television: "I'll never forget that moment. Nothing can prepare you for something like that," she said.
Nicholas was flown by helicopter to a medical unit after 911 was called, and after spending six days in hospital where he underwent surgery to remove the key, he was released – amazingly – with no damage to his brain or eyesight.
