HALF TIME

The Bulldogs have opened up a 21-point lead.

Young Dog Bailey Dale and Roo forward Jarrad Waite are the only multiple goal-kickers on the ground, with two.

Jimmy Bartel said the Bulldogs’ half-back are getting high up the ground.

“They’re lowering their vision. They’re just using the ball better going inside 50,” Jimmy said.

Bulldogs Director of Football Chris Grant spoke to 3AW before the game.

He said players are more comfortable than ever talking about their personal issues.

It comes after Travis Cloke was granted indefinite leave to battle mental health issues.

“For Travis, to be Able to express that externally has been very important,” Grant said.

The Bulldogs need a jump start.

The Dogs are languishing in 10th place on 6-6, in danger of earning the unwanted tag of being a reigning premier to miss the finals.

The Kangaroos have played some brilliant footy in 2017 and are showing great signs for the future.

Former skipper Andrew Swallow and Majak Daw return tonight, while Jack Redpath comes back for the Dogs.

Will the Roos hand the Dogs a third straight loss under the roof on Saturday night?

Or can the Doggies kick themselves into gear?
