Caroline Wilson expects players will sue and Jobe Watson will lose his Brownlow medal in what shapes as a savage fallout from today's guilty decision.
Caro told Tony Jones she felt "sick" as a football lover.
"Those who should be feeling sickest are those at the Essendon Football Club - most of them gone - who allowed Stephen Dank into the Essendon Football Club," she said.
"They should feel forever ashamed."
Caro on legal fallout
"I think there's absolutely no doubt they'll sue the club, and that will be a story that goes on for several years."
Caro on the Brownlow
"I believe he'll lose the Brownlow. That's my understanding from talking to people over the past few days.
"No one wants him to lose it - least of all Trent Cotchin, who might end up winning the Brownlow now - but when you're found guilty of take banned substances .. you lose whatever benefits you gained."
On top-up players
"Let's just hope this once great football club will gain some spirit from a group of young men who are going to get a chance at AFL footy now."
