RUMOUR CONFIRMED: The Privacy Commissioner has been forced to apologise after the email addresses of more than 300 people were accidentally released.
In an invite to a Information Security forum, the body revealed the emails of all those who had been invited.
Among those on the list was Emergency Management Commissioner Craig Lapsley, Andrew Westacott and EPA boss Nial Finnegan.
The Commissioner said the majority of those on the list are internal government emails.
He said there had been no complaints, but would be dealt with appropriately if there were.
