Peter Maher: Profile

A regular presenter, Peter Maher brings his expertise to the microphone. Peter started Rehame, a business that monitored and analysed all media broadcast, telecast and published in Australia. He owned and ran Rehame for 21 years until it was sold in May 2006.

What was your first job?

Daily paper round in Deniliquin for $2.50 per week. I used to get fined five cents every time the wrong paper was delivered or missed.

What is your favourite on air moment thus far?

Too many to mention.

What is your most embarrassing on air moment?

The first time I ever sat in front of the microphone in the studio on my own I thought I was going to have a heart attack.

If you could interview anyone (living or dead) who would it be?

Jesus Christ, lots being written about him.
