RACV shares its concerns about the newest road law

The RACV has expressed concerns over the new road laws.

From July 1, Victorian motorists will be required to slow to 40km/h when passing an emergency vehicle with its lights activated.

But Dave Jones from the RACV said people are confused about when the rule applies.

Mr Jones told Tom Elliott the rule is being rushed in too quickly.

“There should be a mandatory period of informing and educating people well before it comes into place,” he said.
