Pub Of The Week - Scoring

Pub of the Week is presented on the Neil Mitchell Morning Show at 11:40pm Fridays.  Now a word from Tony about what he looks for:

I know it isn't scientific and there are others better credentialed to review, but in the end it is an opinion. So I take into account:

-    The pubs appearance on arrival//Staff looking to ready to serve
-    First beer from the tap (no excuses if not cold enough, or has a stale taste)
-    Food, priced fairly or what you get,  at all ends of the spectrum.
-    Menus; wine and food - Are they interesting to read or just joining the dots? Is everything available, rather than the N/a or 'sorry we have just run out'?  Is the blackboard neat and in uniform writing or is everyone having a crack with chalk?
-    Smaller touches like water, bread, brought without question and overall table presentation (glasses, napkins etc,). Table service.
-    Toilets - Clean, no cracked tiles etc.

For this year, I am marking in half points, nothing less, EG: 12.85 as in previous years.  If a pub gets 13.5, take it that I rate it somewhere between that figure and 14.
