    • Police media have confirmed an 11-year-old boy has been killed in a quad bike accident on a rural property north of Shepparton. No other information about this tragedy is available at this stage. from newspaper. Also A GIRL has died after being trampled by a cow at a Victorian property.

      The 13-year-old was at a property in Katunga, in Victoria's north, when she was trampled this morning.

      Ambulance crews were at the property within six minutes but were unable to save the girl.

      "She was critical and had multiple injuries then went into cardiac arrest and died at the scene," an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said.

      • How horrible.
        Either more and more kids are being killed these days or it's getting reported more now.
        This is a wake up call to all parents to either be more vigilant or teach safety to their kids.
        Not saying it's parents' fault but kids have to be aware of dangers.

        • Criticism against the parents' actions are unjust and unfair. A truly tragic and chilling accident, indeed, but keeping a constant eye on curious, energetic children is not always possible every minute, every second of the day.
          Simply an accident. No-one should be blamed but the co-incidences of fate.
