CFA declare total fire ban in four districts

As firefighters brace for extreme weather tomorrow the latest weapon in Victoria's bushfire strike force has arrived.

Elvis the SkyCrane, which is leased from the United States, will be based at Essendon airport.

The chopper's here ahead of extreme weather conditions tomorrow with temperatures in the mid-30s and high winds predicted for much of the state.

The CFA has declared a total fire ban for the the following areas: Wimera, Malley, Northern Country and North Central.

There is also a severe fire danger in those four areas.
