  • As if the cost of living isn't enough Julia.
Levies and now a carbon price - where does it all end?
Why are you appeasing the Greens at the expense of ordinary Australians??
Do you know just how difficult it is to survive at the moment?? I bet you don't with your feet up at the Lodge.

      • I'm still waiting for Ms Gillard to detail how many degrees her carbon tax will reduce global temperatures by?

Without that key bit of information it is impossible for taxpayers judge if it is worth it or not.

        • The Gangreen party has won. We are all stuffed thanks to Gillard Labor and the irrelevant indipendents. They should be proud of it.

              • PM Julia Gillard has betrayed Australia by inaction over man-made climate change. Australia's domestic plus exported greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution has increased under Labor and is expected to increase to about 150% of 2000 level by 2020 whereas top climate scientists and analysts say the CO2 pollution of Australia (a world leader in per capita GHG pollution) should be reduced to zero by 2020 (Google BZE). Pro-coal, pro-gas, pro-oil Labor is an accessory to 10,000 Australians deaths each year from the effects of pollutants from carbon combustion (3,000 from coal burning for power, 2,000 from vehicle exhausts and 3,000 from other combustion, excluding bush fires). Accordingly, vote 1 Green and put Labor last (the Libs are worse but Labor betrays Labor voters).

                • The rorting ranga would have you believe that the Christchurch earthquake was a direct result of coal mining!
A carbon tax is the only way Gillard can get the budget into surplus by 2012.
She certainly is a disgrace... but then again, aren't most lawyers...???

You are an embarassment to Australia lady.
