Streaming 3AW with Mac and iPhone

For people who use Apple Mac computers, here is how to listen and watch 3AW via our website.

All you need is Windows Media Player for Mac and Flip4Mac (for streaming through iTunes) which can play mms streams on Mac platform. We have supported Mac OS since the past two years through our Online Streaming service.

Below are the links for downloading the required softwares. We have a huge number of online listeners who are on Macs and they are all happy with the service. We hope you would be one of them once you download the software.

Instructions:

  1.    Download and install both the softwares. (if facing any issues with installation, please contact Apple for installation support)

2.    Open windows media player

3.    Go to file > open url

4.    Copy paste the following url - http://streaming.mytalk.com.au/3aw

5.    Click OK and you will be part of our online listeners family.

IPHONES:

You can stream 3AW via iPhone by downloading the official 3AW App.

Head to the Apple App Store and search for 3AW.

Once the app has downloaded open the app, click the play button and you'll be listening the 3AW from whereever you are in the world.

ANDROIDS:

Download and install the 3AW App free from Google Play.

    I stream you guys using an application called 'tunein redio' using my iphone.

    my biggest frustraction is that I cant stream live football and I have to go via the AFL website (using my notebook).. How can I do that via my iphone?

      • Hi, fstream would not work for me, but tunein radio was perfect & quick. hundreds of different stations already set up. Even record 3AW.

            • For the iPhone app Fstream you need to add the url: mms://streaming.mytalk.com.au/3aw
              as it streams over mms (mobile media streaming) not http protocols.

              As for AFL, it's never been streamed over the internet except through the AFL site. Lets hope that changes in the next telecasting rights bid.

              • 3AW web designers need to get up with technology and drop wmv streaming, it's 15 year old technology!!! Get your head out of the PC world an get where it's at, not where it was!! How about AAC streaming????

                • my problem is trying to enlarge my pop-up, can this be done???? frustrating when you have poor eye sight. is this a mac problem, or can you help

                    Just get it right at your end.
                    Imagine if we all had to mess about to receive you on normal radios.
                    You wouldn't be in business.
                    If you're going to offer streaming, do it properly.
