Hawthorn veteran Shane Crawford appears certain to play on in 2009 after the club offered him a one-year extension on his playing contract.

While Crawford will play his 18th AFL season next year, it wasn't such good news for Hawks Tim Clarke, Zac Dawson, Luke McEntee and Garry Moss who were all delisted by the club.

In other Hawks list news, Danny Jacobs has retired and Cameron Stokes has been promoted to the senior list.

Richmond made three further changes to its playing list on Wednesday, with Chris Hyde, Danny Meyer and Travis Casserly informed they will not be offered new contracts.

The Tigers have now made four changes to their 2008 list, following Greg Tivendale's departure at the end of the season.
