International Medical Recruitment

 Established in 2001, International Medical Recruitment (IMR) has grown to become one of the industry leaders in the recruitment of both permanent and locum doctors to positions throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The company's success has been driven by a distinct difference in the way in which we provide our services.  With both Directors coming from non-recruitment backgrounds, we have been able to develop our ethics based on the principles of customer service rather than recruitment itself. This approach has guaranteed quality assurance and has allowed the company to develop and grow through the needs of our stakeholders rather than financial gain alone.

IMR has achieved many milestones, both internally and externally, throughout its 9 year history. We were successful in obtaining Federal Government approval to recruit GPs and Consultants to areas in desperate need of services through their Strengthening Medicare scheme (SMIRS).

Our strong focus on those areas most in need of high caliber doctors has also ensured that we have been able to achieve placements in areas such as Gove Peninsula (Northern Territory), Weipa (Far North Queensland), Thursday Island and Mental Health services to remote Northern Territory.

We are exceptionally proud of the massive impact that we have had on the healthcare systems overall in Australia and New Zealand, and we aim to continue to service both countries by providing quality doctors for many years to come.
