Search for Australia’s ‘next big thing’

Coffs Harbour is known for the Big Banana and Goulburn’s famous for the Big Merino.

They’re the iconic tourist attractions that put towns on the map.

Research by booking website Wotif found 90 per cent of Australians have visited a ‘big thing’ in their lifetime.

Managing Director Daniel Finch told Tom Elliott Wotif is searching for somewhere to build an attraction, the next big thing.

It could be a particular food, or something synonymous with a particular destination.

“It’s a drive to get more people exploring our great country,” he said.
