Nine Radio is your home of the Olympics and will have you covered with over 150 hours of live coverage, beginning with the much-anticipated Olympic Ceremony along the Seine River on July 27.
Daily coverage will begin each at 6:00pm AEST with a national edition of Wide World of Sports hosted by Mark Levy, which will flow into non-stop live coverage from 7:00pm right through the night until the beginning of all breakfast shows nationally at 5:30am.
2GB’s Ben Fordham and 3AW’s Ross and Russ will be live on location in Paris from July 29, blending the biggest and best Olympic moments with local talkback issues.
Nine Radio’s Olympic commentary team will be led by Ray Hadley, who will be in Paris to call the biggest swimming and athletics moments right across the nation.
Joining Ray live at La Defense Arena for swimming commentary will be three-time Olympic gold medalist Libby Trickett, while two-time Olympian and Athletics Australia President Jane Flemming will join Ray for all the track and field action live at the world-famous Stade De France.
Award-winning commentators Shane McInnes and Matt Hill will also provide live commentary across swimming and athletics across 17 days of exciting competition.
Shane will be joined by 2GB host Clinton Maynard and 2GB’s Breakfast News Editor Katie Fuller on the ground in Paris, providing up to the minute reporting on the biggest sports, news and current affair issues.
Coverage will be anchored by hosts Mark Levy, Karl Langdon, Bill McDonald, Bill Woods, Gordon Bray, Lucy Zelic, Adam Papalia and a host of other contributors from a purpose-built interactive Olympics studio in Sydney, which will be the Australian HQ for all Paris 2024 audio.
Complimenting live coverage will be a daily podcast featuring exclusive radio commentary, interviews and opinion on the day’s heart-stopping action, which will be your one-stop shop to catch up on the latest Olympics news as you wake up each morning.
