Teens who use social media for more than two hours a day are significantly more likely to experience depression and poor wellbeing than peers who don’t.

Murdoch Children’s Research Institute centre for adolescent help director Professor Susan Sawyer told 3AW Breakfast hosts Ross and Russel a decade-long Australian study found that families played an important part in regulating social media use for teenagers.
