Shadow Education Minister takes aim at Allan government over anti-Semitism inaction

Shadow Education Minister Jess Wilson is questioning what the Department of Education is doing to follow up on last week’s anti-Semitic abuse against primary school students.
She’s told Tom Elliott the weekly “violent” protests are beginning to spill into the mainstream.
“It’s being normalised because the government is allowing these protests to continue on a daily basis,” she said.

“There needs to be an understanding that, that is absolutely not acceptable and an understanding of why that’s not acceptable,” she added.
Wilson has also taken aim at the government for not taking action on anti-Semitic incidents.
“There never seems to be a follow-up from this government, it’s happy to put out a statement, it’s happy to stand in front of a camera, but where is the actual action?”.
