Community-support app Snap Send Solve has recorded nearly 70,000 reports of dumped rubbish in Victoria so far in 2026, projected to exceed 2025’s 135,000 by the end of the year.

Founder and chief executive of Snap Send Solve Danny Gorog told 3AW Mornings host Heidi Murphy the current cost of dumping rubbish was a key issue.

“They just take to throwing it on the side of the road because they just don’t have the patience or they can’t afford to deal with it properly.”
