Ameet Bains has forecast the future of coach Luke Beveridge could become clearer in the coming weeks.

Beveridge has the Bulldogs playing arguably their best football since their 2021 Grand Final appearance, but at this stage, isn’t contracted beyond this year.

The Western Bulldogs CEO confirmed to Wide World of Sports that he was due to meet with Beveridge during the club’s bye next week.

“We’re due for another catch up during the bye week,” he said.

“It’s a good opportunity to reflect…I’m sure we’ll chat more intimately about some of those (contract) matters at that time.”
