The daughter of a 77-year-old cyclist who was badly injured when he rode over a large pothole on the Great Ocean Road, says it’s unacceptable her dad is still waiting for surgery two days on.

Brian broke his neck and sliced an artery after falling off his bike and landing in a ditch on the weekend.

He’s currently in Geelong Hospital waiting to be transferred to Royal Melbourne Hospital, but keeps being pushed down the queue.

His daughter Melissa has told Jacqui Felgate she’s worried her dad’s condition will worsen in the meantime.
