Car on tow truck catches fire in Melbourne’s outer north

A car on the back of a tow truck has burst into flames in Melbourne’s outer north.

A listener sent the below footage to 3AW, of the car fire on Greensborough Road, Greensborough.

The driver managed to escape before the flames took hold of the vehicle.

The MFB is attending the scene.
