A 30-foot boat has sunk after it was gutted by fire on Port Phillip.

Dan told Dee Dee the fire was “enormous” and he could see “huge flames” coming from the boatabout a kilometre from Elwood Beach just after midday.

9News reporter Neary Ty said two men who were on board were lucky to escape serious injury.
