The company issued 3AW Drive with a statement, confirming the news, which reads:

Buffalo Trident’s manufacturing operations at Sunshine Victoria will be shut down by the end of 2018. Güntner and BITZER are convinced that this cooperation will serve the market in a competitive and responsive way.

The company’s website states that the purpose-built facility in Sunshine opened in December 1996, with 10,000m2 of manufacturing under the one roof.
