2.3 magnitude earthquake rocks Gippsland
A 2.3 magnitude earthquake has rocked Warragul in Gippsland.
Geoscience Australia’s confirmed a tremor lasting around three seconds and hit around 9.15pm on Monday.
The epicenter was at the small town of Jindivick.
An emergency services alert was issued for a large part of the state, from Port Phillip Island to Mallacoota.
