Police have confirmed a Ferrari worth more than $100,000 has been found burnt out in Frankston this morning.

CFA crews were called to the scene on Jolly Street, Frankston, about 6.25am and police remain at the scene.

3AW Breakfast listener Lisa first told Ross and John it was one of two Ferraris stolen from a Braeside mechanic last week, which was first reported by Neil Mitchell on Friday,

‘It’s burnt right out, unfortunately,’ Lisa said.

The first Ferrari, a $2.5 million vehicle once owned by Pink Floyd’s lead singer Roger Waters and Dodi Al Fayed, was found burnt out on Saturday.

Before the car was found ruined, a friend of the car’s owner told Neil Mitchell about the car’s history and owner
