2017 Wheels Car of the Year achieves Holy Trinity

The Mazda CX-9 SUV has won the 2017 Wheels Car of the Year.

Speaking to 3AW Drive, editor of Wheels Magazine Alex Inwood said it ticked all the boxes.

‘It achieved that holy trinity of being affordable first and foremost, brilliantly engineered and safe, but also it’s fun to drive’ he said.

It’s the first SUV to win the award in over a decade and the second year in a row Mazda has won the award.
