2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Ambassador Josh Kennedy on the trophy and his experience winning

Ahead of the 2023 AFL grand final later this week, 2023 Toyota AFL Premiership Ambassador, Josh Kennedy has discussed the handmade trophy and the Swan’s 2012 win against Hawthorn.

The former Sydney Swans player says holding up the trophy after the win was an important part of his life.

“You’re so fortunate to have the opportunity to play and then to play in a grand final and to actually win one, it really does elevate, not only you, but your memory of your career,” he told Tom Elliott.
