25 trucks at out-of-control grass fire west of Melbourne

More than twenty fire trucks are at the scene of an out-of-control blaze in the Lara area, southwest of Melbourne.

Called John informed Tom Elliott of the grassfire, which was then confirmed by the CFA.

The fire is at Bacchus Marsh Rd in Lara travelling in a westerly direction towards Boundary Round.

It is about 10 hectares in size and is covering an area of rocky outcrop, making it difficult for fire crews to access.
