300,000 poppies at Chelsea Garden Show
300,000 poppies have been set up at the Chelsea Garden Show.
It all started three years ago.
Two Melbourne women wanted to make 120 poppies to honour their fathers.
It’s grown dramatically from there, and Neil Mitchell wants it to grow more.
A campaign has begun, the team need $50,000 in a week to get this display moved to the Western Front.
Neil spoke with Lynn Berry who started it all.
Her father and her sister-in-law’s father both fought in WW1 and WW2.
‘It’s a spectacular community effort, and I couldn’t be prouder’ – Lynn told Neil.
