3AW Breakfast decides on the worst animal insult you can be given

The 3AW audience has spoken.

“Maggot” is the worst animal insult you can be hit with.

It comes after the Age reported the greater stick-nest rat cannot gain enough sympathy to be saved from extinction because it has “rat” in its name.

This prompted Ross and John to stage the World Cup of Animal Insults.

Others in the mix included dog, pig, snake, reptile, grub, and worm.
