3AW Breakfast find out about the Silo Art Trail in Victoria’s northwest

The sky’s the limit for these silos. 

For one artist in Victoria’s northwest, a silo in the town of Brim was a blank canvas with an opportunity to showcase the beautiful Wimmera Mallee landscape.

Shire of Yarriambiack mayor Ray Kingston told Ross and John they were hoping to paint five silos in the region to create a trail for tourists to follow.

‘We like to think we have a nice tourist package in this part of the world, but we certainly don’t have one big drawcard to drag people here,’ he said.
