3AW caller details frustrating experience at Monash Children’s Hospital

3AW caller Georgie called in this morning to tell about her experience at Monash Children’s Hospital in Clayton.

Georgie had to wait over nine hours in the emergency department with no guarantee of seeing a doctor to treat her 16-year old daughter’s clot in her leg.

“No one’s come to see us, no one’s even looked at her leg, we’ve seen nurses but that’s it,” Georgie told Tony Jones, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
