Patrick Dangerfield has taken out 3AW’s Player of the Year for 2016.

The boom recruit racked up no fewer than nine best-on-ground performances this season en route to an 11-vote win.

Teammate Joel Selwood finished third.

Sydney also dominated the count, with Dan Hannebery and Luke Parker finishing in the Top 5.
