3AW listener has car crushed by tree in weekend wind

Wild wind caused damage across Melbourne on the weekend.

3AW listener Amanda has sent in the photo below of a tree crushing her car.

Amanda told Neil Mitchell she was standing nearby when the tree fell.

‘We actually did have to run a bit,’ she said.

‘The scary thing was it didn’t make a lot of noise. We saw it starting to fall before we heard anything.’
