3AW Mornings reviews the new JUMP share bikes

JUMP has officially launched in Melbourne.

But 3AW Mornings has identified a possible problem.

The electric bikes are said to have a speed limit of 25km/h.

“I got it up to 38km/h,” program producer Michael Hilder said.

He said the bikes were “deceptively fast” but were unlikely to suffer the same rate of vandalism as their oBike predecessors, largely due to the fact they’re twice as heavy.
