3AW newsreader Tony Tardio has been awarded an Italian Knighthood

Tony Tardio has received an Italian knighthood.

The 3AW newsreader was presented with the prestigious honour, including a certificate signed by Italy’s president, on Thursday night.

“I’m really touched by it,” he said on Friday.
