3AW presenter weighs in on Woolworths’ backflip on Australia Day

Woolworths has walked back on its decision to stop stocking Australia Day decorations after major backlash and criticism saw the major supermarket labelled as un-Australian.

Shane McInnes says January 26 is Australia Day and while there are those who won’t want to celebrate for various reasons, there are some who will.

“Those who want to celebrate the day and recognise Australia and what this country represents should be free to do so,” he said.
