Eastland’s Christmas Sensorium!

Christmas has arrived! You will encounter a magical Christmas landscape, designed to instil a sense of festivity and wonderment. From the Eastland Christmas Community Tree and Santa’s Grotto, through to Kid’s Valley and the Sensory Bells, there is something for children of all ages.

At the heart of Eastland’s Christmas is the eight-metre-high crystalised Christmas Tree and nightly light show in Town Square.

Children can immerse themselves in a mesmerising Crystal Snowstorm – a spectrum of shimmer, wonder and light, great for photo opportunities.

Draped from the arching ceilings of the West Mall, the illuminated Sensory Bells create ambient sounds to engage and interact with, as you journey through Christmas at Eastland.

Santa’s Grotto has been magically transported to Eastland, with a little help from Santa’s Elves. At the heart of a three-story forest glade complete with toadstools, crystalised animals and holographic snowflakes, children can meet Santa and have the moment captured on camera.

Eastland is offering Sensitive Santa sessions for children with special needs again this year.  The sensory friendly environment provides a low stress, quiet surrounding for children with special needs to meet Santa prior to opening. Parents can pre-book a Sensitive Santa Session between 8am and 9am every Wednesday in the lead up to Christmas.

This Christmas, Eastland presents Kid’s Valley, a dedicated children’s space which will host fun and interactive experiences daily, 11am to 4pm. Little ones of all ages will be inspired and engaged with arts and crafts within playful surroundings.
