77-year-old being given a hard time by Centrelink – for their error
77-year-old Nola Dilon is being given a hard time by Centrelink – for an error they made.
Nola has declared her income every year, but Centrelink now claims that her income has been above the threshold to receive a Seniors Health Card since 2014.
They’ve billed for more than $2,200 in repayments.
She told Neil Mitchell she’s asked for a review, but it will take up to four weeks. In the mean time she’s be told to pay up – or face the debt collectors.
‘Why would I pay the money upfront before the review?’ she asked.
