A grieving wife has opened up about the toll of COVID-19 restrictions on families trying to say goodbye to loved ones in hospital.

Julie lost her husband of 40 years this week, but had the ordeal only made worse by restrictions and the inability to get her family all together at once in her husband’s final days.

He was just 67.

“It breaks your heart,” she said.
