Local council advertises anti-racism officer role (but there is a catch)

WORD ON THE STREET

Darebin City Council is on the hunt for an anti-racism program officer.

But there is a catch.

You’re only able to apply for the ratepayer-funded job, advertised with a salary of $90,000 a year (plus super), if you are “Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and/or people from a Culturally & Linguistically Diverse background”.

Rob alerted Tom Elliott to the job on Thursday.
