There has been an apparent increase in atheists and scientifically-minded people turning to psychics for help.

Dr Micah Goldwater, Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney’s School of Psychology, said while science was great at “explaining” things, it struggled to define them.

“Even though science can explain a lot, very few people actually have all of that knowledge,” he said.
