How hairdressers plan on coping with post-lockdown demand

The CEO of the Australian Hairdressing Council says the industry can’t wait to re-open this week, but admits it’s with some reservation.

Sandy Chong told Neil Mitchell demand would be high, with some waiting lists already in the hundreds.

And not all salons will have the normal amount of staff.

“There are some reservations,” she said.

“We don’t know when the unvaccinated can return to work.”
