A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed by a group of youths in Epping.

The teenager was at Epping Station with friends around 9pm last night when he was approached by a group of five youths, at least four of whom were armed with knives.

The youths made demands for the teen’s phone.

When the 16-year-old refused, the group became violent and the boy suffered a suspected stab wound.

The victim ran to the Epping Police Station, before being taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police located and arrested a 14-year-old boy and three 16-year-old boys at Thomastown Railway Station in relation to the attack.
