Children have been invited to purchase an ‘appreciation gift’ for their classmates leading into the holidays.

Not ‘Kris Kringle’, not ‘Secret Santa’ but an ‘appreciation’ gift.

‘It makes me angry,’ Tom Elliott said.

‘I’m not a religious person, but I love the traditions of Christmas.’
