Telstra’s network executive says phone users will absolutely “notice the difference” once they upgrade from 4G to 5G.

“In practical terms, it’s about two or three times faster,” Channa Seneviratne told Neil Mitchell.

It comes on the back of concerns about the slow uptake of 5G in Australia.
