Public transport use in Melbourne has hit its highest level since March 16, 2020.

But it’s still only at 63 per cent of pre-pandemic levels.

Nick Foa, Head of Transport Services at the Department of Transport, said there were “strong trends” emerging, across the board.

“We know that Tuesday to Thursday are the busiest days,”  he said.
