Victoria set to be dudded again as political parties focus on marginal seats

Ross and Russel have been on this one for a while!

They reckon Victoria gets dudded on a federal political level because there aren’t as many crucial swing seats in elections as there is in other states.

Things are shaping that way again this year!

Shane Wright, senior economics correspondent for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, said there was no doubt election commitments were made not necessarily on merit, but with political goals in mind.

“If you really believe that money is given out even-handedly and with careful consideration … well, I’ve got a bridge I can sell you, maybe two,” he said.
