McDonald’s is holding a one-day hiring blitz on Saturday in a bid to fill 5000 jobs across Victoria.

Job seekers can attend any McDonald’s store on Saturday between 9am and 6pm on Saturday and meet with a hiring manager for a five minute on-the-spot interview.

Adam Kelly from McDonald’s Australia says there are a range of positions up for grabs.

“There’s management positions, there’s maintenance positions, there’s first time jobs for youth,” he told Ross and Russel.

“We just want people that want to work hard, they want to turn up on time, and look after our customers — be friendly.

“We’ll interview you on the spot and then we’ll go through the process and you’ll find out pretty soon after that. We do have some formal processes that have got to take place.”
