Tony Shaw has given his verdict on the stage show that’s been written about his life.

The play, written by Neil Cole and produced by ex-Essendon footballer Simon Madden, has been described as a comedy, tragedy and drama.

The Collingwood legend saw the show on Wednesday night, not knowing a thing about the production.

“I decided not to read the script, had the faith in (director) Neil and Simon,” he told Neil Mitchell on 3AW Mornings.

“To get there Wednesday night … I was more nervous than running out in 1990 in the Grand Final!”
